BALTIMORE – The Maryland Jockey Club announced today that a community-wide fundraising effort helped raise more than $65,000 for the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA) during the Preakness Meet at Pimlico Race Course.

Daily Racing Form in conjunction with the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA) will be publishing a new annual Magazine to increase awareness of the TAA’s mission and its ongoing efforts to support Thoroughbred Aftercare on a national level and in Canada.

 
Although TEF won’t be hosting a live event this year, we are excited to celebrate the ASPCA’s Help a Horse Day along with several other equine organizations across the nation on April 26th.

“Moneighs from ReRun” is generously offering the proceeds from one of their auctions (beginning Jan. 8) to additional charities, The Exceller Fund and Aikendale Horse Rescue.
